Ihab Abou Khalil has more than 10 years of consultancy experience. Following his graduation from the Lebanese American University with a Bachelor’s Degree of Business Administration, Ihab has been chosen as one of the best performers of his class for an internship at a renowned financial consulting and advisory company, CCS in Lebanon. After the short internship and hard work, he has been able to secure a permanent job at his current company as a consultant
Throughout these years, Ihab has definitely gained a vast experience in the different fields of corporate finance and governance, through his involvement in a myriad of projects for multinational companies mainly in Lebanon and Saudi Arabia, among other engagements in Egypt and Nigeria. Ihab manages corporate governance assignments as well as corporate finance assignments including but not limited to feasibility studies, business valuations as well as other agreed upon procedure engagements. His work involved weekly travel trips between Lebanon and KSA to be part of major business meetings with managers and owners of eminent corporate business companies such as Zain, Saudi Telecommunication Company (STC), which are major telecommunication companies in KSA; Saudi Arabian Parson Limited (SAPL); WIPRO; Dar Al Riyadh and Bahamdan Group, among others. As part of his high involvement in business valuation assignments, he has developed extensive experience in financial modeling
Those trips to KSA, UAE and Egypt have enabled Ihab to establish invaluable connections with leaders in the business field in the Middle East, and provided him with important interpersonal and communication skills through preparing numerous work presentations for such meetings and the ability to overcome cultural boundaries
Besides, his managerial position has allowed him to lead and work as part of his team of financial consultants at CCS to carry out corporate finance, assurance and corporate governance projects for other companies. For example, he has been responsible to assign roles to his teammates, supervise and proofread their work and evaluate their performance on a monthly basis
However, as a director, he did not limit himself to the managerial role, but rather lead by example working closely with his team in all the technical and professional aspects to deliver quality work meeting tough deadlines. Such work has refined his leadership skills and boosted his confidence to keep providing the best quality work he can to CCS
Ihab holds a Bachelor’s Degree of Business Administration from the Lebanese American University, a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Manchester and holds a Certificate in International Financial Reporting (CertIFR) from the ACCA
